I can buy an unlocked Android device for travel purposes and have only one phone.

We're switching from AT&T to Verizon at the least because they'll unlock the SIM for me for travelling.
But, I could get an unlocked Android device and go for the $30 T-Mob deal (100 mins? whatever I don't talk on my phone). If I was single I would have switched already.
