activation key from MS. Put the download DVD in the drive....nothing. Turns out the computer has CD capability only. But...the MS activation page has a 'download' button. Start the download for Office 2010...1% complete, 2% complete....walk across the street and do a little grocery shopping...come back 97% complete. Finished - try to open file...it's in DVD format!!

Our archivist says he's been considering having a DVD drive installed but it hasn't been a priority...now it is!! Next concern will be whether the PC is too old to handle the load :/

If you have the ISO, just download MagicDisc and you can mount the image as a virtual DVD drive -- (link) - oblique Aug 24, 13:55 1
