Teams collapses last year so they ditch he manager and GM, but keep the players. Assure the players they won't be bringing in a Bobby Valentine type. Bring in Bobby Valentine. Team plays poorly, players complain about Valentine, new GM ships off the players involved in what should be the start of a major rebuild. Then dump Valentine? That would be great.
