He was heavily influenced by anti-colonialism.

Umm, didn't they kinda win out over the colonialists? It's not like there are that many colonies anymore, they all got their independence.

And no I didn't buy a ticket to it (Premium Rush got my $6), but when my tea party relatives want to talk about the movie, at least I'll be able to counter the few actual points the movie brings up. And honestly, enough about the guy's dad, his mom was way weirder and had far more issues....where's the expose about her?
