I just makes me cringe when someone says they got ripped off from a spam deal, like buying valentines flowers then finding out their phone number got

slammed, their email is now flooded with spam, their bank account dinged for a bunch of charges.
I really don't know why they don't teach kids this basic thing in schools, or why, after the TV news reporter does a bit on a internet scam the chatty news desk team doesn't say something about not buying shit that's spammed, that nothing good is likely to happen but is very likely a lot of bad will.
