I was going to see some cirque du soleil show with a friend (I don't recall which one). she had to hit the bathroom, so I stood against a wall in the theater enterance waiting for her. as I'm waiting and watching the people walk by outside the theater I notice that people keep staring at me. some would just stare the whole time they were walking, others would do a double take. if it was just one or two people I wouldn't have noticed, but it was almost everyone, so of course I'm wondering if my hair is on fire, or I'm bleeding. my friend comes up to me from the bathroom and points over my shoulder to my left and says "no way". I follow where she's pointing and realise I've been standing about 2 feet from tom hanks for who knows how long. I say "so that's why everyone was staring at me", he chuckles, and we go walking off to our seats.
