I don't foresee Meg "going up against" Sarah in any conceivable fashion.
Now look, i read books by people I disagree with. Your overall point is well taken. Al Franken's 'Why Not Me?" is still one of my favorites. Even one of his anti-Limbaugh tirades was entertaining. But if I had actual antipathy for an author, that would (IMO) by definition prevent me from reading their words with an open mind. Which in itself *may not* be a pointless action... that's what I was asking - why?
