Exactly. He had the opportunity to be a grand slam for Romney, someone that could have pushed Romney way up in the polls.

At best, he confused the fuck out of everyone watching. At worst, he actually hurt Romney.
I really think at least some of the Romney people had to be thinking, "Dammit, should have gone with hologram Reagan."
