A Bub LYC (that only JenBro will care about).

So, one part of kindergarten is they are covering a letter per day. They have a piece of paper and they write the upper case, and the lower case, write a word that begins with it and then draw or glue things that start with that letter to the page. Yesterday was the best letter of the alphabet, "M".

I worked late and when I got home, noticed his M page as I was walking past the ledge from the living room to the kitchen, even though the room was rather dark. Noticed the Angry Birds Space style meteorites that he has been drawing lately, read his "MARKERS", and some sort of a flower that looked more like a daisy than a marigold.

When I got upstairs he and mama made me go get it. When I got into the light he showed me.

"Those are meteors that start with M, that's a star that doesn't start with M, and that's you because your name is Michael!" I could see now that the flower was a face with the body going down the "M" with arms and legs coming off of it.

"Uh, what is on my head?"

"Those are thought bubbles. Can't you read them?... They all say Logan because I know you spend all day thinking about me!"

Had never seen him draw a thought balloon. My boy is gonna be a cartoonist. Plus, he thought of me!

The footnote to the story was that when he got home he told Amy all of this. She said, "You know what else starts with M? Mama." She said he was horror stricken for less than two seconds and then he said, "Mama, all the pictures I drew in art class today, I drew for you!!!"
