If my wife is out of town, I don't bother to set one because the dogs get us up within ten minutes of 5:30 every day anyway. -- nm

for the last month, almost every day (weekend, weekday) I have been waking up around 4:30 without an alarm. I'm thinking about trying no alarm one day
