can I ask a question? so last night I was trying to have a conversation and my phone service kept dropping. I would redial and it would fail or cancel

I tried to text the person I was talking to to let them know to IM me instead; texts wouldn't go through. calls would connect, last a minute, disconnect -- this happened repeatedly. (see call log linked below.)

on football weekends here, calls drop. often. like, every ten minutes or so is not uncommon after 9pm. the infrastructure just isn't there for at&t. but on a non football weekend, this is untenable.

is it worth my while to go to at&t and ask if we had an outage last night? or do we know if phones still work as they used to -- can my activation be sent out again to refresh me on the network? I can't live without a phone. you know? what would you do?

1) go to at&t
2) wait a few days and see if it persists and then go to at&t
3) nothing

"switch carriers" is not an option here.
