How could you, or anyone know the long term effects? 20 years ago I worked at a place where they came and sprayed for insects monthly, during business

hours. Every month after they came, I started wheezing and got a terrible headache. It would last about a week then go away. After about a year, I complained to my supervisor that I thought the spray was making me sick. Several other employees were affected too, some of them got more ill than I did. Our supervisor got her manager to call the company and she was told "oh, it's harmless some people are just a little sensitive to the smell." Of course my response was, "It kills bugs, doesn't it?". Anyway, about 4 months later the day after spraying I got really sick. My doctor admitted me to the hospital with pneumonia. Turns out it was chemical pneumonia. My doctor called the pest company to get info on what they sprayed and they refused to give any info, said it was a propriatary mix. I got released after a week and kept working there 6 months until I couldn't take it anymore. The following year this same pest control company got fired from its contract to spray the Nashville city schools because so many kids and teachers were getting sick. Then it came out that their propriatary blend was mainly malathion. The city of Nashville sued them for a pile of money. The following year the Tennessee legislature passed a law disallowing any pest company to spray during the hours that people were present.
So, I don't trust anyone anymore when they say, "oh it's fine, it won't hurt humans" because I know that it sometimes will.
