I vividly remember every instant of the surgery. Chisel, stitches, nurses holding me down..
I remember right after, hyperentilating and sobbing for a good 30 minutes with my mom in the room.
I remember the car ride home. Gauze in my mouth, other drivers staring at me.
then I remember gettign home and the percocet made me projectile vomit. have you ever vomited with your gums (all four) stitched to your cheeks? It does not tickle.
