Oh, this was wisdom tooth extraction? I am not exactly sure how they do but I don't think they do full general.

Looks like they used local anesthetic with some sedation, you can't really compare that with full general. We bring out the big guns. We use generous doses of opioids for pain control.
Was there an anesthesiologist present? Typically the oral surgeons do their own sedation for tooth extractions.
