I've been a big fan of The King ever since his days in the MidSouth ... Memphis, Nashville, etc....

I'd get up on Saturday mornings to watch all of the weekend wrestling shows ... and MidSouth Wrestling always had an hour on Sat. mornings ... Lawler, the Jarretts, Bill DUndee, etc. ...
not everyone realizes how highly decorated Lawler is going back to his hey-day ... about the only thing he hasn't done is a major championship in WWE ... which is a shame really ...
anyway, yes, you hate to see your heroes go down miserably ...
