I still sort of don't get it. And honestly, I'm not at the place were it can be explained to me.

they need to draw things with big buckets for me to understand. I am so unhappy about this I can't stand it. I want a bucket I can dump stuff and have it portable. I do not want to mess with things that actively get in the way of that. It's ultimately why I hated I-Tunes.
All I know is there's stuff I had that I can't listen to now.
I'm this close to throwing it on a server and being done with cloud systems.
