Huge impact on our economy. Lots of "dutch disease" chatter in day to day use, so the higher dollar is always a story.

it's big up here thanks to cross-border shopping. Most things are anywhere from 10-100% cheaper across the border (booze, gas, food, tech, etc) -- nm

a dozen beer (in NB) is $25-$18.50 ; likely a tad cheaper in TO. Hard liquor is probably 4 times or so as expensive than the US -- nm
