This makes zero sense to me.

"Connecticut Republican Senate nominee Linda McMahon has qualified to appear on the ballot as both the Independent Party candidate and the Republican nominee. This means she will appear on the ballot twice, as will Rep. Chris Murphy (D), who is also the choice of the Working Families Party."
