I've drifted into Buffy and Charmed territory. How about... Otherworld, CBS, 1985? Voyagers!, NBC, 1982/1983?

It's a grey area. The underlying mythology we're seeking in those years would have lent itself better to the primetime dramas such as Dynasty, Falcon Crest and Dallas.
