An aspect of last night's game that strikes me as rare is that Cutler had 11 completions.

He had 7 sacks and 4 INTs, meaning that he had as many disastrous outcomes when he dropped back to pass as positive ones.

I was curious so I did the math on this. There were 126 passing yards for Chicago. They lost 52 yards in sacks and 38 yards in interception returns. This is a net gain of 36 yards on 34 attempts, barely over a yard per attempt.

In modern football, this is almost unprecedented failure.
