Also, White Sox have offered Abreu a 1 yr/$8M deal.

I think I might take that at this point if I'm Abreu. I haven't heard a whisper of a market for him at this point, and in this market I think 1 yr deals and re-entering next year in a weak free agent class when things might be better is a smart move.
