I haven't tried immersive reading or the x-ray feature and I don't think I probably will use either much in reality. Overal, the new "features" of the OS haven't been really impressive vs. the speed of the device, quality of the display, and the other upgraded hardware componenets.
Forgot to say the speakers are definitely improved but still a bit on the trebly side. Being that I'd be using it with headphones most of the time, it's a non-issue
