Yes, I have not paid the $15 to remove the ads. What I see are:

1) Lock screen advertisements. Seem evenly split between ads for movies/TV shows (Revolution, etc) vs. offers ($5 credit for MP3, $10 card for using Discover). These do not bother me

2) I think there's an add on the home screen but it's just 2 lines of text like "Read harry potter using Amazon Prime". No problem

3) I'm not sure if it's the ads or just the OS but it does do "Other's who bought this app bought..." whenever you have an app or music or video highlighted in the carousel. This is annoying to me
