I've always found nested functions can get flaky.

Did you use quotation marks around the UP006 and UP260?
If you put the cursor after the open parenthesis at each function and hit the "fx" button, you might be able to see where the formula is failing.
Responses:
I did, I always hose myself with no quotes, so I watch for that. I might just call it a day and go home stupid.
