That's one of the things I don't like about the original. It's very challenging to figure out what of the dozens of things that drop are actually worth picking up, putting on.

Well regardless, it's quite easy to tell what items are upgrades in D3. In Torchlight, not so much. It's definitely more for number crunchers. -- nm
