Romney is distant and reactionary, and is never ever willing to back down from statements that might alienate the exact people he needs to vote for him. I think this is a big moment, but he seems to keep one-upping himself on a weekly basis. I'm seeing a lot of anger about his comments with not a lot of people defending him (at least in my circles).
