agreed. But I'm a bit surprised given the public spat over this between Israel and the US and what's happening at our embassies...

but I think it would put to rest the doubt the world has in our resolve to back Israel up. If we start launching strikes into Iran while the Arab Street is begging for an excuse to erupt I don't want to hear how we don't support Israeli.
