In the same way Disneyland has princesses and fairies, Legoland has Lego Friends, and they're... unusual.

Don't get me wrong, the only reason the Disney characters aren't strange to us any more is because we're used to them. It's largely young women in absurd make-up, wigs, tights and spanx.
But the Lego Friends were something else. First, it was stunning how much they resembled their toy counterparts, and I think that's why they were so unusual. I mean, it looks like they cast twelve-year-old anorexics.
