Boras is in agreement, but the medical doctors are pretty solidly in the idea.
All you need to do is look at Mark Prior. Who wants to say they contributed to the next Mark Prior becuase they wanted to keep running out a good pitcher instead of taking care of him?
Again, this wasn't Justin Verlander they shut down...he was 7-7 with a 3.50 ERA his last 2 months. In that Nationals rotation, that's not even 2nd best.
