Our outreach event today was a huge success. When we're invited to participate in these we've found they're not always well promoted and it's

discouraging to sit at a table all day and nobody comes by. This was county sponsored and they finally seem to have their butts in gear with regard to local prehistory. There were the paleo people, local native communities, and archaeo tables. We got the most interest in our 'toys' - pin-and-ring games, bull-roarers, and other items based on archaeological artifacts.

This may become an annual event and we'll expand our display if that happens.

Now I can sleep until Tuesday afternoon :)
