Baseball could have a shorter season but it would still be played at the same time as football. You couldn't end the season in July. The end too late and it's sometimes too cold to be playing baseball.
On the other hand, maybe football should start later so it's actually cold outside when they play and not 80 degrees on the field. Football is much better in the cold and snow. (Pussies play in a dome)
