So hooray for weird timing

I got Heather's anniversary present when we were on vacation 2 weeks ago and had it shipped here, but I lost the tracking number.

I'd expected it to be here by the time we got back, but it wasn't.

This weekend comes and I start to worry. No package, and without the tracking info it's going to be difficult working with the place that I got it from.

Meanwhile, Heather's having an awful day - she was almost in tears by 10am, and it takes a lot to fluster her - and 15 minutes after I got off the phone with her, the package is delivered to my office.

I have wrapping paper here, so I wrapped it up and will be able to give it to her while we're driving home this afternoon.

(none of this is a euphemism)

Hopefully, that will brighten her day a good bit.
