And, as for baseball....it's amazing to me that the Tigers are that heavy a favorite given the Giants have depth on the mound as well.

as much as I love Verlander as a pitcher, he's not exactly John Smoltz or Jack Morris in nature, where he is 100% lights out in the post-season.
He's pitched in 6 series iirc, and in 4 of them, his ERA was north of 5.
Just happens the 2 all-world series have been the last two. Even ARod torched 2 rounds of playoffs in 2009.
