I see on your to-do list you have track the number of clicks to track link popularity.

You could also combine number of times a link is posted and number of replies to a posted link (or ideally discussion about a link which follows, although this would be much more difficult).

All of these could be combined into some sort of "link interestingess" which could be a ranked list on Dr. Stalk.
