Argo was exactly what people are saying. It's tense, funny, emotional...the last 30mins is like the end of Midnight Express, I was almost terrified for them. Arkin steals scenes with both hands and doesn't even care. ("I'd rather stay home and count the wrinkles on my dogs balls")

Cloud Atlas is fascinating if you can get through the baffling first hour. I nearly gave up on it. I think I get it, but not really. I'd need to see it a few more times I think. It's worth it for people like us who might like a challenging movie.
