LIR to LMS re: Last Resort--I love it, the acting is exceptional for TV (even Scott Speedman) and it will break my heart when the network cancels it.

Right now it's not pulling the 18-49 demographic numbers that the network wants for L+1. Nielson refuses to count L+3 or L+7 (where several ratings points are gained for Last Resort) because--well, I don't know why. They refuse to recognize there's been a total evolution in the way we watch TV. Until L+7 is accepted, there will be an ever growing heap of scripted hour-long dramas tossed on the scrap pile.
Bastards.

I hope at least it's given a chance to have a satisfying ending. -- nm

Yup. It's a show I won't stop watching (and will look for on DVD eventually) even if I think it's getting axed. -- nm

Dr.Vermin still misses Journeyman too.

Three new shows I really like: Last Resort, Vegas and The Neighbors. And sadly it seems only The Neighbors has a chance of a renewal.

Also, whoever scheduled it for 7:00 pm, the *family hour*, deserves to be horsewhipped. It should be on at 9 or 10 pm. -- nm
