Not sure if this will help - but usually when you endorse coverage for hearing aids ( inland marine rider ) - you get better coverage ( all risk ) - and can even choose no deductible - or if it saves enough on the premium - use a $100. or other deductible to apply to loss. Wear & Tear and Maintenance are usually not covered - but loss due to breakage, mysterious disappearance, theft, etc. are all covered ... we've even paid when a dog chewed up one ... the rate is pretty affordable too - 3K of value per earpiece at $60. per year is typical. A few year's back - I posted you a suggestion to add them to your policy. :D Hope this helps.
