old normal because before 08, it was always two white guys going for president.
Throw a woman or a Latino into the mix next time out for either side, you begin to see huge turnout for that segment of the pop. that should be enough to make it decisive. It's a bit crude but once you have someone from the black/latino community who isn't a total headbanger and who doesn't look like he/she will go crazy with the nukes, they're practically a shoe in.
