GOTV should not be that complicated.....as someone who has worked on that thing for past elections, the Repubs f*cked that up badly...

Its been a few years since I worked on a campaign, but up here the Liberal Party had supporter lists and someone would come and pick those up from the polling stations a few times a day. By 6 pm (polls closed at 8 pm usually) there were all sorts of phone calls and other communication to make sure that supporters who had not identified were verified or helped to the polling stations.
This was 10 years ago.
