No, it isn't. Cheating is a choice that leads to potential blackmail. Kidnapping is not chosen AND not a big risk of occurring.

Blackmail around an affair is almost guaranteed at some level.

Even if it never rises beyond "tell your wife or I talk to the press", blackmail is a KNOWN and COMMON risk of having an affair.
