They need to get out of the social issue game altogether. I suspect their clinging to these issues...


...is part of the 'false choice of two parties controlled by the same corporate forces' conspiracy theory.

If they were really for smaller and more limited government, the logical first step would be to get the gov't out of the marriage business and stop worrying about what's not taught in schools and whatnot.

"Look, we're the party of personal responsibility. Teach your children what you believe and stop depending on the gov't to do it for you."
