It's clear that they back loaded contracts and are now operating on the cheap while reaping in shared profits. But.....

all it takes is a couple baseball guys to say "the prospects the Marlins got are actually pretty good. This isn't a bad baseball deal" (which has already happened) and the deal is justified.
