Nice! Gald to hear you're making your own. :-)

The next step is to use fresh tomatoes and a mill. Oh, my god! You'll end up the best sauce you've ever had in your entire life. I used crushed tomatoes and puree all my life. It's easy and very good. But once you do it from fresh tomatoes you'll never want to go back to the canned stuff.
Admittedly, I do it rarely since it's a bit of work. Not much, but more than just opening a few cans. But when I'm making a Sunday sauce for a big dinner I break out the mill and go buy fresh tomatoes.

I'm so happy to read that you're off the jarred stuff. :-)
