I guess it depends on how much sauce you use in your pasta.

There's 2 28-oz cans of tomatoes, plus some other stuff. I freeze a bag with 2 c. of sauce. If I have any extra left over, that can fit inside one of the bags I'm about to freeze, it'll just have a little extra.
