Best stuffing ever: dry bread cubes, fresh oysters (or browned up sausage), sliced water chestnuts, celery, mushrooms, shallots, and dried cranberries

celery salt, thyme, and sage.
White or Cornbread cubes are a 2:1 ratio with chicken broth
Sautee your veg with a couple of tbsps butter or the fat from the sausage
mix the bread, chicken broth, vegs together
beat up 1 or 2 eggs (depending on how much stuffing you're making) and pour over the top, then mix in well.
Stuff the bird (unadvised) cook until a thermometer stuck in the middle of the stuffing is 165F and/or
grease a (or 2 if there's a lot) 9x13 bakiing pan, cook in a 350f oven until well browned on top, about 45 minutes.
