It's a money grab for sure from UMD's perspective, but the reasons for staying would be more about what the ACC used to be than what it is. It's stupidly overhyped now as the "dominant" basketball conference.
It's not. It won't be. Particularly if they lost Turgeon, he looks like the real deal.
Doesn't really matter. This is the selling subprime mortgage phase and the total ncaa meltdown isn't far off.
