ha. this morning, mel posted a story from a while back re: a woman who was thought to have a brain tumor until it was discovered that a worm was in her brain stem, not a tumor.
private practice took it a step further - doctors had actually diagnosed a glioma in addison's brother's brain, there were multiple opinions given by "new york doctors" only to, in just a wee amount of checking, have it discovered he has parasites in his brain.
"really?"
