how amanda and mark are with her, for example.
and the characters are still likeable enough.
but betty herself - how many episodes have had her being underappreciated at work or by daniel, only to have that lesson be learned again.
how many times has she pulled a victory from the verge of defeat?
how many times must she make bad choices before she learns from her mistakes and just one time finally makes a good one to start with?
how many times are there outlandish plot devices?
and, oh look, yet another love interest!
i get that it's, in part, a takeoff of telenovelas/soaps; but, as a prime time show, it needs more to get by than what it's been giving us. i think those kinds of shows have more characters so there's more mixing-up.
unrelated to the above: i think they've misused the sister's character. i really really did not like the coach storyline.
