I agree with what your saying, the show from the beginning has always reminded me of The Devil Wears Prada, especially Meryl Streep's character and

Vanessa Williams. Also the stuckup assistant in DWP and Mark and Amanada. I think it is the similarites between the the movie and this show is why I've also watched it for so long. To me the show is also evolving, although its is slowly. Right now Betty wants her freedom and independence from her family and they are still dependent on her for so much. I've watched every episode of this show except for the last 2 which are on my Tivo.
