This really made me laugh. So they really didn't research the "free speech" laws in Canada at all, did they.

As for Canadian originated content, quite a few of our direTv channels use a lot. I'm betting half the Nat Geo, Nat Geo Wild, Discovery (in all its incarnations), Syfy and especially Chiller and Cloo networks have a lot of CBC material. In fact, yesterday Chiller Channel (all scary shows and movies) had an all day long marathon of Forever Knight. BBC America is about 75% joint ventures of BBC and CBC. Oh and the 2 new series on Cinemax, Strike Back and Hunted are joint CBC and Cinemax productions.
So do they show those channels up there?
